About me

I am originally from what was a coal mining village called Holmewood that is a six or so miles south of Chesterfield, Derbyshire. I left school at 16 to join the Army as a bandsman. I am now living on the outskirts of Malvern, Worcestershire. Further details about my career can be found on my Linkedin page.

My other main interest is coarse fishing, primarily after specimin barbel, chub and tench. Most of my fishing is done on waters controlled by a local club and others controlled by the the Barbel Society. I shall incorporate some angling pages to this website when time allows.

My passion for photography is driven by nature and conservation. In both landscape and wildlife. I try to avoid visiting zoos and wildlife parks as I prefer the solitude found in natural environments. I am sure most animals would also prefer to be in their natural habitat!
